Federal Tax Credits

• Furnaces with an efficiency of 95% or higher
• Air Conditioners with an efficiency of 16 SEER and 13 EER or higher
• Air source heat pump with an efficiency of 15 SEER, 12.5 EER and 8.5HSPF or higher

Michigan State Tax Credits

Any furnace that meets Energy Star criteria qualifies, which is generally any furnace over 90% efficient.

The credit is $75 for single filers with income of $37,500 or less. For joint filers the credit is $150 with combined incomes of $75,000 or less

DTE Utility and Consumers Power Rebate

DTE Energy is offering a $300 rebate to their customers who purchase a 94% efficient furnace or higher. Consumers is offering a $300 rebate on furnaces with variable speed ECM motors and a $350 rebate on 16 seer air conditioners. DTE and Consumers Power reserve the right to cancel the program at any time. Please allow 12 to 16 weeks for rebate.
